      Fnneral Services Were Held At The Christian Reformed Church Saturday, October 13
      Henry Nobel was born on a farm near Hull. Iowa, on November 21, 1903. In the spring of 1905 he moved with his parents to Matlock, Iowa. At the age of twelve his parents moved to a farm near Rock Valley. Here he grew up to manhood. On February 13, 1930 he was united in marriage to Miss Hilda Moorlag. In March of that year he moved to the Fred Wegener farm four miles north of Hull and lived there until the time of his death.

      Although he had been in poor health for more than a year, his condition did not become serious until about two months ago. Complications of a heart disease developed and medical aid was sought at Rochester, Minnesota. His last two weeks were spent in the Hull Hospital. He died very suddenly on Tuesday afternoon, October 9. Mr. Nobel had attained the age of 41 years, 10 months, and 18 days.

      Besides his wife, Mr. Nobel leaves to mourn his departure, six children; Bernard, Harriet, John, Joanne, Hertilda, and Henrietta Faye; his mother, Mrs. Jennie Nobel; one brother, John; two sisters, Magdalena (Mrs. Peter J. Van Otterloo) and Rose.

      He was preceded in death by his father in 1918 and a sister, Mrs. Herman Van Otterloo, in May of this year.

      Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, October 13, in the Christian Reformed Church of Hull, with Rev. J. Hanenburg officiating. Interment was made in Hope Cemetery. Pall bearers were Albert Meendering, John Rens, Lambert Scholten, John Te Slaa, Gerben Van't Hul and Gerrit Van Surksum, fellow deacons in the Christian Reformed Church.

      Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral included Mrs. Neil Decker of Chicago, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Hans Moorlag, Mr. and Mrs. George Moorlag, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moorlag, and Christine Kok, of Pease, Minnesota; Peter Feenstra and family of Ocheyedan, Iowa; Mrs. Dick Versendaal and Mrs. Anthony Klingenberg of Holland, Michigan; and Mrs. Odes Hoogeveen of Jamestown, Michigan.
